Hi there!! I’m Julie, your local Sunshine Coast Newborn Photographer. It brings me so much joy to capture those precious first moments of your little one’s life, and I am so very grateful for the trust that so many families have place in me over the past 10 years. As a mum, I know just how precious those early days are which is why I take great care to safely pose your newborn for their portraits. My goal is to create timeless images that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime, and I can’t wait to meet your little bundle of joy!

However, we also believe that printing your photos is key to truly preserving them for years to come. After all, a beautiful print on your wall or a cherished album on your bookshelf is much more likely to be treasured and enjoyed than a digital file that gets lost in a drawer or buried in a computer folder. We want you to be able to relive those special moments again and again.

To take the first step towards booking your Newborn photography session, simply complete the form below or call 0410 087 681 to check availability. Once availability is confirmed, your session fee is due to hold your date on our calendar.
We can book out months in advanced so be sure to contact us asap.
Pre-session consultation
I offer a pre-session consultation to get to know your family and your vision for the session. During this call, we’ll discuss what you’re hoping to achieve and answer any questions you may have.
I want to ensure that you and your family are fully prepared for the session, which is why we’ll send out a prep guide. This guide will provide you with useful tips and suggestions on what to wear, what to bring and what to expect during your session.
your session
Our newborn photography sessions are designed to be calm and relaxing. We believe that the best photographs are captured when everyone is comfortable and having a good time.
Photography sessions are done at our home studio in Currimundi, Sunshine Coast.
Newborn sessions are 2-4hrs in duration beginning at 10am, weekdays only. We have everything we require to create beautiful portraits of your little baby from different coloured backdrops, posing props, wraps, beanies, bonnets, headbands and accessories. We also welcome any heirloom items that you may like to include in your session.
viewing your images
Straight after your session, we’ll sit down and view a slideshow of your images that we have captured during your session. We’ll also help you choose your favourite images and design how you would love to display them within your home.
Once you’ve chosen your favourite images and decided on a package, we will finalise the payment and start working on your order. Our packages are designed to provide you with a range of options to fit both your style and budget.
receiving your PHOTOS
Waiting to see your images can be exciting, which is why we work hard to ensure that your images are ready for collection as soon as possible. After your package has been finalised, we’ll begin the process of assessing and perfecting your images to make sure they meet our high standards of quality and that it looks its best for printing.
Once we’ve finalised the editing process and have ordered your prints, we’ll arrange for you to collect your images. This typically takes around 3 weeks from the time your package is finalised. Once we have gone over every inch of your product to ensure they are of the best quality, we’ll call you to arrange a time for collection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we get the digital images?
We have four digital image collections available. These are purchased separately to your session fee.
When is the best time to book?
Newborn Photography sessions are best done when your baby is 7-14 days of age. We know that your baby will come when they are ready which is why we secure your date via your due date and once bub has arrived we schedule your session.
Are parents & siblings included?
Absolutely, after all it’s not just about your baby but the whole family. With sibling photos, they are always done at the beginning of your newborn photography session and then we ask you have someone that can take them from the studio while we continue with just bub and you.
What do we wear?
The main focus of your images should be the connection and love between you and your newest family member. Therefore avoid wearing patterned, large logos and bright coloured clothing. Bright coloured nail polish should also be avoided. Neutral coloured clothing is always a great option for your session. When it comes to baby, they will be wrapped, nude or in one of our beautiful newborn rompers.
Do we need to bring anything?
We have everything we require to create beautiful portraits of your little baby. If you have any heirloom items, you are more than welcome to bring them along, we just ask you let us know prior to we can plan where we can use them during the session.
How long is a newborn session?
Newborn session duration is 2-4hrs. This allows time for feeding, soothing and changing props as well as the best bit, where we get to go through the images captured from the session.
